Job Description Sr Engineering Services Process Analyst Location:  Gloucester, MA  Job Description:CAD Business Analyst position in an Engineering Services group providing ProEngineer technical assistance to users, development and deployment of new engineering-related CAD processes, standards and training.  This position will support new Engineering AOP initiatives, such as “Parts from Solids” Design, Global Outsourcing, ECO process and design process improvements, engineering website content and PTC upgrades.   Responsibilities Include: Provide technical PTC support via internet, email and phone to the Engineering community. Manage projects from inception to implementation, including gathering requirements, writing specifications, and designing/building/testing/supporting PTC applications. Communicate with users from problem identification through problem resolution regarding technical support. Develop and deploy tools and processes necessary to support the following projects: Global Outsourcing: Communication, Collaboration, Network access and security (IP protection): voice and data, Hardware Parts from Solids Design: Manage the transition from drawing-centric to drawing-less infrastructure, Vendor & supply chain cooperation, In-house manufacturing acceptance and process development, Engineering acceptance and process development, ECO process alignment, Create, define and implement solutions to address inter-tool data transfer and management (API integrations), possibly (or not) PLM related Virtual Manufacturing: Assembly mockup for first pass analysis, Technical Publications and internal documentation including CM activities, Dynamic interference checking and analysis Define and document Best Known Methods for design standards. Manage training for engineering users, i.e. PTC products, ECAD, Engineering Standards, Collaboration software. Required Skills: Excellent technical skills are required. Must demonstrate successful project management experience. The ability to work well as a team member and handle independent responsibilities are a must. Must possess solid written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills are required. BSME (MSME preferred) or equivalent, a “hands on” experience in the following areas: advanced knowledge of solid modeling (PTC products) CAD, CAD model design life cycle management, Microsoft Office, Excel, Project and Visio.  Experience with Java, specifically J-Link, but not required. You must have the ability to manage multiple projects and work as part of a cross-functional team.
