The Role:

The Senior Finance Manager, Connected Consumer Devices will be responsible for all financial controllership, metrics, and financial strategy for engineering and development, supply chain and manufacturing decisions about current and future devices designed by Lab126.  Lab126, an Amazon.com company, is an innovative consumer-focused startup company located in Cupertino, CA. This role, located in Cupertino, CA directly reports to the President of Lab126 .

 As elements of your daily work, you will:Lead the forecasting efforts of engineering expense, capital and resource allocation.Provide analytics and financial guidance around manufacturing operations, supply chain/vendor issues, and inventory levels and quality.Deliver the financial plans as agreed upon by management.Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership.Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances.

 
The Candidate:

Lab126 is seeking an innovative finance professional with 7+ years of Finance leadership experience in an organization(s) with world-class processes -- hardware manufacturing experience is desired. The right individual will have solid business judgment capable of driving a field organization to the right results with a focused, but pragmatic, approach to the business. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. This individual will also have experience in designing and enforcing policies and processes that will protect (and even enhance) the integrity of Lab126's financial records; are scaleable; will increase organizational efficiency; improve service levels; and are customer-friendly.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, finance, engineering or a related field and a Graduate degree from a highly regarded business school and/or relevant professional accreditation preferred.
