Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager WW, Credence is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer for our Hillsboro location. This position will be a Sr. level Mechanical engineer to support Mechanical Product Design across all Credence products. This person will be responsible for mechanical design, engineering analysis, documentation, and management of product from design to introduction into manufacturing for major mechanical systems of Credence products.
Key Responsibilities:
•Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies including sheet metal & machined fabricated parts, cables and interconnection.
•3D solid CAD modeling systems, preferably Pro Engineer.
•Advanced system level design
•Molded parts experience
•Electro Mechanical interfacing
•BOM generation and DFM
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•BSME/MSME or equivalent experience.
•BSME with 8 years of relevant experience or MSME with 6 years of relevant experience.
•Travel up to 20%
Preferred Skills & Experience
•Experience in mechanical design and program management.
•Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or ATE is preferred.
•Experience with ATE interface (wafer/package test design is a plus)
