Position:  Sr. Product Line Manager

Location:  Norcross, GA

 

Sr. Product Line Manager. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, this Product Line Manager will be the owner of the Spectrum Analyzer portfolio. They will be responsible for the complete product life cycle, including defining the market requirements, driving engineering, and delivery of a new product line, as well as managing the current generation product line. As such, the target candidate should be familiar with the technical requirements and needs of the CATV spectrum analyzer marketplace. This senior staff member in the Product Marketing organization will serve as the expert and champion for the product line and is expected to be play both a technical and marketing leadership role. The Sr. Product Manager’s responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining the spectrum analyzer product line roadmap - Managing the complete lifecycle of both the legacy spectrum analyzer line and the next generation spectrum analyzer line - Developing the spectrum analyzer product line business plans and product positioning - Developing and executing the product line promotion plan - Performing the required market research, monitoring competitive activity and identifying customer needs. - Product line pricing and profitability - Working with engineering to drive development of the next generation spectrum analyzer product line - Championing the product line within the division and the company - Creating and managing product line marketing collateral.

 

Requirements:  BS in Electrical Engineering required. MBA preferred. 10 years experience in Product Mgmt for hardware and software intensive product lines - Knowledgeable in CATV RF transmission, switched digital video, MPEG, IPTV, software defined radio and related technologies - Strong leadership, team building and project management skills - Process oriented and goal driven - Outstanding organizational and analytical skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as necessary - Strong MS Office skills - Highly desired industries: (test equipment, CATV, telecommunications). Job Code: RE-PLM1
