Job Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborates with Director, Marketing & Sales and other staff to define Strategic sales and marketing objectives for Products in line with overall Division goals. Assists in developing tactical product line and promotional Marketing strategies. Evaluates customer VOC feedback, market conditions, competitor data and recommends marketing plan changes for approval and implementation as needed to achieve long-term product line viability. Provides inputs into market-driven product line architecture decision making process. Assists in development and execution of Tactical Sales strategies in line with Strategic objectives. Monitors sales success on assigned products and/or accounts and recommends strategy adjustments required to meet objectives. Leads major new business proposal efforts as assigned. Is responsible to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives. Travels to customer sites to discuss and present product features, benefits and competitive advantages; quoting and negotiating pricing; conducting and attending meetings. Flexibility to travel 50% of the time. Maintains detailed, accurate, and up-to-date sales availability forecasts for all assigned product and customer programs. Responsible for proper inputs to and maintenance of Customer & Program profiles in ACT database. Works closely with internal staff to coordinate, preparation of product literature, trade shows and exhibits, web site content, new product release announcements, advertising campaigns, etc. Maintains current knowledge and status of all assigned Products Marketing and Sales activities and disseminates such information to appropriate areas of management on an ongoing basis. Maintains a working knowledge of governmental regulation and practices affecting Systems products. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
BS degree in technical field

Years of Experience:
Minimum 5 to 7 years experience as a sales engineer for specialized technical sensor and/or system products.

Experience in Aerospace Avionic systems and/or sensor technical sales.·Knowledgeable in both government and commercial sales venues.
Demonstrated capability to Organize, Implement and Control a variety of interrelated Sales and Marketing activities required to ensure maximum market penetration for Products.
Ability to manage often conflicting, time-sensitive priorities in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous situations.
Track record of meeting and/or exceeding commitments.
Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
Competent in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALIFICATIONS (not required):

MBA preferred
Highly preferred that work background includes inertial measurement units and inertial navigation systems with a basic knowledge of GPS Technology.
