Purpose: Currently we’re looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented Senior Technical Recruiter with a sixth sense for recognizing intelligence and talent. Principle Accountabilities: Partner with hiring managers across different business units in multiple locations for full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, extending offers and negotiating compensation packages. Provide executive search functions (research, mining, direct recruiting). Work with hiring managers to accurately identify needs and create effective job postings; post all job listings on company’s website as well as external job boards. Responsible for managing all requisitions through company’s on-line applicant tracking system. Responsible for generating an extensive pipeline of qualified candidates - must be extremely proactive and proficient at using technology to efficiently seek out and identify not only active but also passive candidates. Responsible for reference checking and performing pre-employment background checks on all potential new hires. Recognize relocation and visa issues and work in partnership with corporate global mobility to sponsor foreign nationals for work authorization in the US, including H-1B, L-1, J-1, and NAFTA-TN visas. Communicate effectively and timely with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process. Passionately express the company’s business structure to candidates. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree (HR focus) with a minimum of 5 years experience recruiting in a high tech / engineering environment (will consider candidates with additional experience in lieu of degree), and meet the following requirements: Utilization of a variety of sourcing methods is necessary, including Internet recruiting. Sourcing capabilities must include the ability to proactively seek out the most qualified candidates available. Must possess strong ability to develop rapport with all levels of hiring managers and candidates. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the flexibility to operate well in a rapidly changing environment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, but is also highly effective in team environments. The ideal candidate may have had experience recruiting from an external agency environment as well as corporate Human Resources. Excellent planning, organizing and follow through abilities. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain focused, yet relaxed, under pressure. Must be diligent in follow through and incredibly detail oriented as this position supports the rapid expansion of different segments of our organization. Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite, database management and experience with online applicant tracking systems, preferably HRsmart.
