Our client, a leading provider of process equipment solutions for the data storage, semiconductor and compound semiconductor/wireless industries has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant in their Somerset NJ location.

 

The person selected for this position will support a team of three with AP, AR and general accounting in a growing department. Advancement opportunities will likely present themselves to a strong performer in the area of general accounting as well as in specialty areas like revenue recognition, export compliance and projects dealing specifically with Asian markets.

 

This position offers broad operational accounting experience, cost accounting, export compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley exposure.

 

You should bring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1 to 2 years practical experience. Your skills in Microsoft Excel should be strong, and any familiarity with SAP would be a plus. Good communication skills are essential. The ability to work in a friendly and professional manner with clients and across internal departments should come naturally to you.  Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
