Opportunity:

Our Applications engineering position will be part of National's fast growing Hi Rel division. National's Hi Rel division is focused on developing technically superior signal path products to make a difference in our Military and Space customers' applications.

Our Applications engineer will be responsible for all aspects of applications engineering for National's Signal Path Products released to space level standards consisting of Analog-to-Digital Converters ranging from 250KSPS to 3GSPS; Precision and High Speed Amplifiers; and Interface products. Responsibilities include challenging high-speed, mixed-signal board design and assisting customers with design-in of National IC's in their applications by providing technical information and problem solving. This engineer will also assist in defining new devices by working with customers, Design and Marketing Engineers. This engineer will have the opportunity to provide customer support by writing application notes and magazine articles, conducting training for customers and NSC Field Applications Engineers

Requirements:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.  At least 10 years of related engineering experience is required - at least 5 years of which should be in mixed-signal/analog signal-path applications. Experience with military/aerospace applications.  BSEE degree required, MSEE preferred.  US citizenship is a requirment for this position.
