Position Title: Staff Engineer

Location: Anaheim, CA 92803

 

Job description:

Under minimal supervision and utilizing significant independent judgment, the staff engineer develops and applies engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of medium to complex technical problems. Plans and provides direction for project s or phases of programs. Provides technical direction to and coordinates efforts of engineering and technical support staff. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve the solution to mid-level problems. Review project progress and evaluate technical baselines. Recommend corrections by technical analysis to ensure a design that meets budget and schedule. Prepare and make technical presentations.

 

Qualifications:

- BSEE in System Engineering or related field of study.

- Must have a minimum of eight years experience in product development with experience in project management.

- Must have experience with SWS program and operations, signal processing and system engineering. Hardware design, space qualification or radiation hardening experience is a plus
