Staff Field Sales Engineer (nece-000597)
- Work with the local manufacturer's representative and distributors to develop new accounts and grow distribution point of sales in the up-state New York area
- Drive the sales process to influence decisions at customers and NEC Electronics to meet the needs of both sides.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Profile and do SWOT analysis on opportunities.
- Promote NEC Electronics' MCU, Gate Array, USB, Power Management, Memory, and ASSPs product lines.
- Help train customer, distributor and manufacturer's representative on NEC's products.
- Meet the new account development, design win, and revenue budgets
- 8 years of semiconductor sales experience
- Experience of working with semiconductor distribution
- Prefer experience in MCUs and custom logic
- Knowledge of local accounts
- Requires strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills
- Needs to have sales leadership behaviors such as abilities of: persuasion, creativity, focus, persistence, and strategic planning
- Requires a BS degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- An advance degree in Engineering would be desirable.
