PURPOSE: The Staff Financial Analyst (Project Manager) will provide IT with the ROI and / or Project Analysis necessary in order to make sound investment decisions and deliver on-time project completion. PRINICIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Reporting to the IT Capital Acquisitions Manager, the successful candidate will: Review all new and renewal IT contracts to include implementation, systems maintenance, software and hardware in an effort to drive down costs. Perform both ROI and project analysis, ensuring sound business decisions. Review and monitor ePR and eCapex spending approval Support management in preparing monthly forecast for each IT project. Support department mgrs review of actual vs budgeted performance for each IT project Adhoc buy vs lease or move existing asset or buy new analysis Provide Support to the IT Executive team on IT Council project presentation material’s. Influencing IT policies as they relate to IT financial reporting and accounting practices. Preparing reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of expense reporting based on past, present and expected operations. REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in Finance desired, CPA preferred. 5+ years related work experience in a financial analysis capacity, minimum 2 years in an organization with intensive spend patterns (IT, R&D, etc). Ability to accurately explain expense variances analysis -both at an executive level and with support detail as required Strong communication, organization, problem solving and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of GAAP rules/audit procedures.
