Stock Picker/Inventory Clerk

 

Location: Vishay Sample Service Center (VSSC)

 

The Sample Center maintains inventory of Vishay’s full product line of electronic components and provides Vishay and its customers sampling of these various components at the request of the customer.  Primary duties include picking parts from shelf and packaging for delivery, providing assistance with shipping and receiving as needed, assist with inventory control, process paperwork by using Excel and SAP

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Pick and package light ordersAssist with inventory controlShipping/receiving to/ from locations worldwideCourt, sort, and put away product material on shelfScrap obsolete componentsCustomer service supportEnsure accuracy and completeness of ordersAssist in other areas when needed

 

Candidates should have High school diploma or GED preferred.  No prior experience required.  Will provide onsite training and be able to lift up to 25 lbs.  Computer skills required.  Knowledge of Excel and SAP a plus.  Should have attention to detail and be able to adapt to constant product changes.  A team player but can be able to work independently too.
