Strategic Marketing Director - Advanced Power Management

The Advanced Power Management Group contributes to National's strategy by providing power management solutions to its customers while partnering with multiple product lines to develop system-level solutions. The Strategic Marketing Director will drive the marketing strategy for our Advanced Power Management Group. Responsibilities in particular will include:

 



§ Driving Power Management’s long-term strategy and vision

§ Identifying new technologies, markets, and applications

§ Setting priorities for defining strategy, developing roadmaps and product definitions

§ Driving ecosystem relationships for deployment of advanced power management technologies

§ Driving customer engagement for validation and adoption of advanced concepts, technologies, and products

§ Managing the activities of the strategic marketing group, which include - setting goals, establishing priorities, assigning tasks, monitoring and evaluating results of the marketing department in line with the Power Management Group’s strategy

 



Requirements:

The Strategic Marketing Director should have a deep understanding of the semiconductor business dynamics and customers behaviors within various application markets (Computer, Consumer, Industrial and Telecommunication). Other skills requirements include:

The ability to translate identified market opportunity into clearly communicated goals, objectives, and strategies to direct reports as well as supporting organizations The ability to create short and long term business plans Cross-functional leadership skills to influence and gain support from other organizations within the company and product line Ability to work well under pressure Ability to drive key customer engagement Excellent presentation and communication skills



Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of related experience with BS or equivalent; 9+ years with MS or equivalent.

 



Desired Experience: An MBA is preferable. A demonstrated background in all phases of marketing and business development in the semiconductor industry is preferable. A track record in identifying and developing new business with experience in sales management is a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree (16 years)Job Level: Director/VP/Executive
