Deloitte consultants work hand-in-hand with clients to improve business performance, drive shareholder value, and create competitive advantage in the most practical, sensible ways.   Our Healthcare Provider Practice provides clients with a broad range of competencies and services that help them achieve the goal of improving the quality of patient care while creating and sustaining long term, bottom-line success.    Deloitte's Clinical Information Systems practice continues to grow as our Provider industry clients strive to integrate technology that will transform their business and clinical processes, create the highest level of efficiency, and take costs out of their operations, all without sacrificing the quality of patient care.    Our consultants function as integrators of business and clinical requirements with technology solutions.  They provide operational assessments and business process redesign services related to health information management for ambulatory and acute care settings.  Activities to support these technology based solutions include performing current state analyses on processes pertaining to planning, ordering and delivering patient care, defining systems requirements, and re-engineering business processes, all in an effort to ensure that clinicians have access to knowledge and data from trusted sources, in a clinically meaningful way when they need it.  Our consultants then implement the integrated business and clinical package solutions by managing the project, defining support procedures and providing training for the organization's staff.    Senior Managers are responsible for:   - Engagement Management: manages engagement risk; project economics including planning, budgeting, and managing accounts receivable; defines deliverable content; and ensures buy-in of proposed solutions from client's top management. - Business Development: develops and maintains contact with decision makers at key clients; organizes and leads pursuit teams; participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process; and contributes to proposal pricing strategy. - Practice Development & Eminence: develops solutions and methodologies; develops "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participates in public speaking events; and publishes in industry periodicals. - People Development: acts as counselor and coach; provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process; and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities. To qualify as a Senior Manager candidate, you must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree and a combined 10 or more years of health care industry experience, including consulting.   An undergraduate degree in business, nursing, or a related medical degree and advanced degree: MBA, MHA, MPH or a Masters in Nursing is preferred.  Full life cycle project management of clinical information systems is ideal and can include either custom, or package solutions such as EPIC, Eclipsys, Cerner, IDX or related systems.  In addition, candidates will have strong project management skills, a history of success in business development and client relationship management, and possess a successful track record of managing high performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and demanding performance metrics.About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
