Our healthcare professionals enable health care providers (from physicians to integrated delivery systems) to improve the cost effectiveness and quality of their care delivery capabilities.  Deloitte Consulting can help clients address these and other challenges in today's complex health care environment.    Revenue Cycle project work is challenging and rewarding because it can significantly impact the financial health of our client organizations.  These are full lifecycle engagements that include: patient access redesign from standardization of admission practices to insurance verification; patient accounting and financial services redesign; technology evaluation and implementation; Charge Description Master and charge capture integrity; pricing strategy development and implementation; payer discrepancy recovery including Medicare and Medicaid compliance; and denial management and clinical denial recovery success.     A consultant at the Manager level will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for health care providers including major medical institutions, academic medical centers, and integrated health care systems.  Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.  The Manager implements and oversees the quality of deliverables and effectively manages the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.  Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.  Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.Viable candidates will possess a track record of success in Consulting Services and have 6+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle consulting management.  An undergraduate degree is a minimum requirement, although an advanced degree in business, MHA or MPH is strongly preferred.  Viable candidates will have significant subject matter expertise in transforming revenue cycle business and related clinical processes to minimize denials and appeals, while optimizing performance and reducing days in accounts receivable.  Charge Description Master and pricing strategy experience is a major plus.   In addition, the candidate will have strong project management skills, a history of success in business development and client relationship management, and possess a successful track record of managing high performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and performance metrics.
