Position Description:Responsibilites: - Characterization and unit test of signal processing modules. - Development of scripts for regression testing with StarCore simulator and StarCore development board. -Signal processing modules include speech/audio codecs, modem/FAX, video codecs. - Development of test vectors to enhance test coverage using off-the-shelf tools or in-house tools. - Participation in system validation, design documentation and presentation to development team. To Apply Visit LSI CorporationQualifications:Qualifications:-Required skills: - Good programming skills in C- Good documentation and presentation skills- Knowledge of digital signal processing theory and algorithms- Strong communications skills are required for interfacing with team members. Desired skills:- Algorithm development and simulation skills using fixed point C models, Matlab.- Unit testing and verification on target hardware.- Experience developing on DSPs such as StarCore, TI, Blackfin, etc.Education:Required Degree: BSPreferred Degree: MS Preferred Major: Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
