Altec Lansing is the market share leader in the PC speaker system category providing high performance multimedia products for the computer OEM, reseller, distributor, and retail marketplace.  Our headquarters is located in Milford, Pennsylvania, right on the Delaware River Highlands at the foot of the beautiful Pocono Mountains, with many outdoor recreational opportunities.  In addition, Milford is a weekend get away destination with the amenities of a small resort town.  We are within commuting distance of many Northern New Jersey and Southern New York residential areas and only 70 miles from New York City.Position Summary The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for managing finished goods inventory levels by consolidating forecasts provided by sales management and coordinating the PSI process including development of productions plans with manufacturing operations in China. Supply Chain Planner is also the responsible representative for Supply Chain Operations on new product introduction. Responsibilities:    After receiving forecast from Sales Management, consolidate into PSI worksheet via ORACLE. The Supply Chain Planner will also consolidate and prepare information to support the monthly PSI process. This includes reviewing forecast to actual data as well as manufacturing and inventory plans for the most critical items. Assure the production plans and the inventory plans meet customer service and inventory management objectives. The Supply Chain Planner is the focal point of inventory availability information when there is an allocation issue. Likewise, he/she is the focal point for driving inventory reduction initiatives. At the end of each month, The Supply Chain Planner will analyze the PSI worksheets and report the data to sales, finance, supply chain management and marketing. This is done through ORACLE. The Supply Chain Planner is the focal point and liaison between sales, marketing, etc and the manufacturing operations. He/she is the Supply Chain representative on the product introduction team. Manage and assure inventory is balanced between distribution centers to maximize customer service and minimize freight costs. The Ideal Candidate:    Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. If degree is specifically in Supply Chain, we are actively looking for recent graduates. Minimum of 2 - 5 years experience in Supply Chain Planning, MRP/ERP.
