System Test Engineers

Sensus Metering Systems, a leading worldwide provider of gas, water, electric and heat meters: clamp and coupling products; and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) / Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, has an immediate openings for System Test Engineers in Raleigh, NC.

 

System Test Engineering (TE) positions will be responsible for the development and implementation of utility metering products involving complex tooling, electronics, software and embedded systems which collectively comprise an end-to-end Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) based metering application.  Additional duties would include Test Planning, Test Case Development and Test Execution.

 

Qualifications

 

• Embedded SW and driver experience

• Sound knowledge of HW (RF knowledge a plus)

• RTL design, emulation experience

• Good written and oral communications skills required.

• Solid experience with Microsoft tools

• Excellent validation skills: test planning, problem solving, debug, adversarial testing

• C/C++, Tcl/Perl/shell-scripting/Unix or Linux

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 3-12 years experience
