(NYSE: MC), known worldwide by its Panasonic brand name. Currently we are looking to hire a Curriculum Developer III. Job Summary: Under the direction from Technical Training Manager, the Curriculum Developer III is responsible for designing and developing technical curriculum for instructor-led and online delivery formats. Works closely with subject matter experts for the development of technically accurate subject matter curriculum. Keeps abreast of new technologies and processes in order to include into existing and future curriculum. Ensures that curriculum standards are being met by auditing curriculum as well as guiding, evaluating, and training instructors. Leads workgroup efforts to improve curriculum and training processes by providing continual feedback and recommendations on existing curriculum. Acts as technical training instructor to internal and external customers in support of Panasonic Avionics systems, products, and processes. Duties:Curriculum Development and Life-cycle Maintenance ? Works with management and assigned resources to determine subject needs assessments to develop courseware outlines and delivery methods. ? Develops curriculum modules that may be re-purposed within multiple subject matter content. ? Writes instructional materials for multiple formats including instructor-led, video, and self-paced training. ? Develops test items and exams to support learning objectives and standards. Manages the core repository of the test bank providing statistical data and analysis relative to the effectiveness of trainee assessment. ? Researches new technologies and processes in order to incorporate into existing and future curriculum. Process Improvement ? Assesses and provides ongoing feedback and recommendations on existing curriculum. ? Participates in work groups for process definition and improvement. ? Develops and maintains Quality Operating Procedures and Work Instructions conforming to ISO standards. ? Accurately estimates project work effort and reports progress, issues, and risks to Project Manager in a timely manner. ? Participates in instructor and class evaluations to improve teaching effectiveness. ? Trains new and/or junior level instructors to guarantee subject matter knowledge. Platform Instructor ? Delivers technical training in a classroom, video or web based delivery medium. ? Conducts student laboratory periods, practical demonstrations and exercises. ? Administers written, practical exams, and maintain student records. ? Administers class evaluations in order to obtain metrics of training effectiveness. ? Initiates curriculum and/or documentation change requests to ensure material is accurate. ? Ability to travel approximately 20% of time. Qualifications Required:? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to present and teach technical information in a professional and engaging manner ? Ability to effectively transfer knowledge to people with diverse cultural backgrounds, educational experiences, and learning styles. ? Must enjoy and be comfortable with interacting directly with customers. ? Must have an understanding of adult learning concepts and various training methodologies. ? Proven skills for developing and delivering various training curriculum ? Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio. ? Experience with XML- Authoring tool. ? Knowledge of current e-learning technologies. ?
