At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Engineer in our Alpharetta, GA location. This position requires strong customer service skills for consultation with Arrow sales representatives and resellers on the design and development of technical solutions for HP Enterprise computing products. The candidate will work with Arrow's inside sales team, and directly with reseller partners to qualify requirements for solution development, construct the solutions, and assist inside sales individuals with any escalated solution centric pre-sales support request. This position is primarily focused on level 2 pre-sales technical support for partner enablement and inside sales. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - A.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or equivalent level of experience - Must be able to complete certifications through self-study and company sponsored training - Customer service skills with the ability to provide the "value-add" (going beyond a simple answer) - High attention to detail with strong problem resolution skills - Self-motivated to learn - Ability to prioritize and effectively utilize time management and organizational skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to translate information to technical and non-technical customers.We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental plans, 401(k), and a unique sabbatical program.
