About the Opportunity
We are currently looking to fill the position of Technical Marketing Specialist in our Marketing Communications Department. The ideal candidate must first and foremost possess the technical ability to test and qualify WDE products for trade shows, evaluations and other marketing needs. A unique blend of business and technical savvy, excellent organization skills and project management skills is necessary to ensure the success of position. You must enjoy working with different internal groups, specifically Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Product Management, to understand their initiatives and find innovative and efficient implementation strategies to support their goals.

Position Responsibilities:Test units used for marketing purposes to ensure they are 'review ready' or 'trade show ready' which include visual and functional inspections. Coordinate and schedule shipment of product samples for trade shows, reviews and meeting.  Track all marketing units to ensure on-time delivery to company and timely return to company.  Manage inventory of marketing stock, communicating needs to sales team when appropriate. Work with Customer Service and Product Development team to answer inquires received on product performance and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain FAQ section of Westinghouse Digital Electronics web site. Partner with Marketing Department on other objectives as required.

Required Qualifications:BS/BA degree or commensurate work experience (preferably in engineering or electronics) 2-4 hands-on experience in the consumer electronics field Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and MS Office suite. SAP experience very helpful Knowledge of web applications highly desired

 

Required Skill SetTechnically savvy with CE products Proficient, analytically and organizationally. Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to maintain focus in high stress situations.
