Technical Sales Representative

Sandvik Materials Technology, a fully integrated manufacturer of specialty materials for high requirement applications has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Representative within the Sandvik Bioline / Medtech product area.

 

The representative will be based on the West Coast of the United States and will be responsible for direct technical sales of medical raw materials (titanium, stainless, etc) and contract manufacturing services to orthopedic, spinal, and vascular OEMs as well as the administrative duties associated with managing a sales region.  

 

Key Performance Areas: Advancing Sandvik Medtech sales efforts at target OEMs  Developing and implementing market plansServing as a liaison between a diverse medical customer base and multiple Sandvik production locationsManaging the pricing and sales structures of both Sandvik products to maximize profitability

 

Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or significant experience with medical materials and manufacturingMinimum 3 years experience in a sales capacityInterest in materials, bio-engineering, or manufacturingStrong communication, presentation, and analytical skillsAbility to travel up to 50% of the timeMicrosoft Office proficiencyAbility to perform in a team oriented, continuous improvement environment
