As a Technical Service Representative with GridPoint, Inc. you will be responsible for key activities such as:

Perform trouble ticket resolution and second-level support of GridPoint products Conduct system diagnostic testing and fault isolation to the defective system component Implement repairs in a shop environment iand at client sites (to the assembly or component level) Performing logistic support requirements such as equipment and spare part inventories, functional systems analysis and failure data reporting Developing troubleshooting documents and other service manuals for the GridPoint product line Assist in training, certifying and supporting of internal and external field service personnel Providing system operating briefings to customer and supervisor Supervision of other employees Performs other related duties as assigned Able to communicate clearly both both verbally as well as written Identify opportunities for process improvements

Experience:Must be experienced in interpreting system drawings and electronic schematics Strong troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of mechanics and electronic systems must be demonstrated Experienced in the use of Test Equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, power meters and DC power supplies Cirrcuit-board component level repair

Background Desired:Prefer an Associates Degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or equivalent technical training gained from service in the Navy, Air Force, or other armed services branch Effective communication, time management, organizational, and analytical skills Working knowledge of solar installations a plus Position requires up to 50% domestic travel Must posses a valid US drivers license and be able to pass a background check and drug test
