Technical Services Supervisor

This person must have a background in electronics, preferably with prior video experience. In this position you will have direct contact with the customer regarding technical issues with the product. From here you will work to log and track the issue and ultimately determine a solution. Based on this prior customer service and customer interaction is critical as well as the ability to travel to make repairs as necessary. Job SummaryResponsible for researching and resolving complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Performs duties in compliance with CFR21 and ISO 13485. Essential Duties· Receives service calls from customers. Processes orders, prepares correspondence, and provides technical support for installed products, including mechanical and electronics systems. · Records service call information into a tracking database. Maintains service records to include customer complaints, product quotes, warranty information, etc. in compliance with the company quality system.· Ensures that the client is receiving service according to the service contract and/or warranty and helps customers by providing technical solutions.· Installs, analyzes, and services machinery in the field. Maintains relations between the customer and the organization on all service matters. · Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.· Establishes and trains a qualified technical support network. Facilitates training sessions. Coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members.· Maintains project binders with service activities and product maintenance information. Maintains traceability for all exchanged items. Performs essential duties in accordance with established Quality System policies and procedures. When performing a Quality Control/Assurance function, assess work product with objective judgment against defined quality requirements and standards, record results accurately and report deviations from expected results as required in released procedures. And other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills and Abilities· Minimum Associates degree in engineering or industrial technology required with emphasis in Audio Visual systems, and 5-7 years experience in customer service, computer technology, Audio Visual design and implementation, or hospital/OR environment. · Exceptional customer relations skills; ability to respond in a manner emphasizing the companies willingness to resolve any customer inquiry or complaint.· Demonstrated knowledge with low voltage audio/visual technology.· Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters and signal generators; ability to use and interpret readings from electronic test equipment.· Analytical thinker, organized.· Familiarity with UL, IEC, ISO and FDA regulatory guidelines.· Demonstrated written and oral communication, especially facilitation and presentation skills. Works well with all level of employee and client.· Thorough knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.· Familiar with proper lifting and moving techniques.
