PEOPLE – PLACE—PURPOSE—POTENTIAL Position Summary The primary focus of the Eastern Regional Sales associate is to increase & manage sales in a designated and assigned territory with the goal of significantly increasing penetration into that market. This position will be responsible for maintaining/growing business with established customers and developing business with new customers. Account management skills are a must. This position will report directly to the Eastern Region Sr. Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will be located in the Mid-Atlantic Region (DC, DE, MD, & VA) Responsibilities: Effectively implement sales strategies and marketing programs to sell into the Enterprise Office Marketplace. For this reason, a proven ability to interact at all levels within Fortune 1000 type accounts is necessary. Candidate should also have the ability to develop and provide support for Distributors and Resellers. Relationship building with key customers, internal and external, is a key requirement of this position. Develop and implement annual sales plans and maintain sales pipeline for the territory. Work with Inside Sales to effectively manage the territory. Work with channel partners to maximize revenue attainment. Develop customer relationships and sales activity to build and optimize results. Act as the customer’s first line advocate with the business. Obtain information/data from the customer for the business. Represents Company at trade association meetings to promote product. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.The Ideal candidate: BS/BA degree and 5-years business to business field sales experience or 10-years business to business field sales experience. Experience in the Call Center Market a real plus. Possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and/or channel partners. Well organized and an excellent communicator, and possess the ability to be a team player. High ethical standards and integrity. Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Ability to work independently out of a home office is important. Some overnight travel will be expected. Basic Requirements: BS/BA degree and 5-years business to business field sales experience or 10-years business to business field sales experience.
