We are seeking a Sr. Territory Sales Manager for the North East Region of the United States. This territory will cover from Virgina to Michigan to Maine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling Company products within the assigned territory. Establish and maintain effective relationships with representatives and end users in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, training and other representative support activities.
Responsibilities:
• Represent all aspects of Company and subsidiaries in assigned geographic territory.
• Identify, contact and pursue contracts with potential high-volume business.
• Develop, implement, and track comprehensive business plans with representatives designed to increase revenue and profit within accounts and territories.
• Call on customers with representatives to inform them of new products/services and other necessary information.
• Train representatives on new products and solutions.
• Recognize potential problems (including poor sales performance) and take corrective action.
• Work with established representatives and develop local sales programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Penetrate all key accounts in assigned territories.
• Work with all levels of representatives including sales personnel up to senior management.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
• BSEE or comparable technical degree with 3 - 5 years for lower level and 5 - 8 years for Sr. level with directly related sales experience. Recognized relevant certifications may be accepted, i.e. PMEL.
• Proven, effective sales and communication skills.
• Successful experience demonstrating technical expertise to educate and sell our products to representatives.
• Proven ability to motivate and direct representatives to promote and sell Company products.
• Proven ability to initiate communication and execute problem solving and sales strategies.
