Test Engineer Quality Inspection

Test Engineer:
Position requires test and inspection of electronic components. Requires an associate degree or higher with 5 years of experience in the electronic industry. Will test all manufactured components, make reports, design and make simple test fixtures, train the production personnel, communicates with offshore assembly operations, and writes certificates of compliance. The individual reports to quality manager. Need to travel four times a year to Haiti.



Essential functions:

Performs electrical tests of transformers and inductors using manual and semi-automated test equipment. Performs mechanical measurement using gages and calipers. Performs visual inspections and creates reports.

 

Education:

Associate or BS degree in Electronic or related field

 

Skills:

Experience in laboratory test equipment and understand and intrepid engineering drawings for medical and military applications
