Newark is looking for a highly motivated Web Publishing Specialist that would specialize in building and maintaining web pages and associated content. Responsibilities include designing and building web pages, online advertising, email newsletters, and other web content in support of ecommerce marketing initiatives. In addition to layout, the Web Publishing Specialist will ensure all content is optimized to drive improvements in search engine ranking, thereby leading to increased traffic to newarkinone.com and generating incremental web sales.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the creation of persuasive/effective marketing, and internal communication, web media materials. Uses web technologies and techniques to create and publish marketing materials. Meets schedule and budget compliance for all web media production projects. Page layout and digital asset creation Adhere to branding and quality guidelines Optimization of web content to generate improved search engine ranking Responsibility for execution accuracy.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years experience designing web pages, internet advertising, or other interactive media HTML, CSS, basic javascript Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Image Ready, MS Office, Flash Strong design & layout skills Detailed oriented team player Excellent communication skills. Read/Write English Bachelor?s degree in graphic design, web production, or related work experience is preferred.
