Web Marketing & Data Analyst

We are a fast paced B2B and B2C company looking for a Web Marketing and Data Analyst with strong proficiency in using web analytics packages to measure the effectiveness of web based marketing campaigns.  Marketing oriented and design smart, this individual will be in charge of data input and analysis and handle content management and upkeep of company’s numerous websites and internet driven campaigns. Key activities of the position include measurement and analysis of direct marketing activities, 360 business reporting, website analysis, development of web based reporting tools and general support of ongoing marketing activities.  The successful candidate will have a background in database marketing and general knowledge or experience working with web based data visualization tools. 

 

Ideally, candidates will have Web experience with sound understanding of online marketing strategies and concepts, competitive and consumer research principles and business metrics and statistics.  As a plus, the candidate would be comfortable with navigating the Internet and associated data technologies such as web analytics packages to measure the effectiveness of web based marketing campaigns. Must be a self starter, fast worker with an orientation to problem solving and results.

 

 Responsibilities:

 Provide research for web strategy and solution development:Complete online competitive analysesGather consumer insight via surveys and online communityDevelop and enhance online research capabilitiesPerform ad-hoc analyses of Internet and website data findingsResponsible for determining how to implement changes on the web using Best Practice approaches without negatively impacting the user experience, conversion rate, and the sales process. Monitoring and managing internet advertising and marketing campaigns, then reporting and recommending actions based on performanceWebsite monitoring and updating, emphasis on keeping information current and in line with SEO strategiesIdentifying, writing, executing, monitoring and analyzing key marketing and business intelligence reports Fielding requests for ad hoc reports from all levels of the company and producing reports based on requirement inputPerforming list collects from CRM data given specific guidelinesReceiving and logging, validating, manipulating, and importing large sets of data from outside sources and then analyzing and reporting on that dataKeeping current on technology by identifying, reading and using technical manuals and other resourcesAssist department in the growth of its services by integrating services and activities into a broader continuous improvement process within companyCommunicating and collaborating effectively with staff of varying technical expertise

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related fieldExperience in measurement and analysis of data from business and marketing perspectivesStrong understanding of Internet-based consumer behavior and direct marketing tacticsFamiliarity with Direct Marketing concepts and business practicesCRM experienceKnowledge of database query development (i.e. SQL) would be a definite plusWebpage savvy, marketplace current, strong design senseAbility to work effectively on concurrent, multiple tasks and projectsAbility to work independently to coordinate, organize and track tasks effectively and meet project deadlinesExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skillsProven analytical skills, highly organized, process oriented, self-motivated and able to think out-of-the-boxAbility to work with minimal direction and manage projects in a dynamic environmentOverall Excellent PC Skills and technical skills

 Preferred:
