West Coast Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a successful track record of sales development. The West Coast Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities in their territory, as well as managing and growing existing business. Will also be responsible for establishing and managing an external sales representative network. • Work with engineering concerning design reviews and product launches. • Work with applications and engineering to generate proposals, costs, and quotations. • Must visit customers. • Must attend trade shows within the territory. • Must increase the sales by a minimum of 10% year over year. • Must generate a monthly forecast and activity summary. • Must work well with people. • 5 year minimum experience in sales in the Opto-Electronics field. • Must have experience managing a sales group. • Technical or Business degree preferred. • Must have computer skills; Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.... • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment.
