AIX Systems Administrator/Manager

This position will provide leadership within the IS department and provide support in overall IS planning and budgeting.  Primarily responsible for the planning and direction of technical services, system administration, DBA, daily operations, installation of primary application system upgrades, and project management support for enterprise projects as it pertains to data center operations.  The scope would include Bryn Mawr and Boardman (OH) data centers and related physical security, Oracle database administration, unix/aix platforms, data back-up and disaster recovery.QUALIFICATIONS A 4-year degree in computer science or related field, with a minimum of five years experience in data center management and project management. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture is required. Experience with enterprise application support and integration required. Familiarity with telecommunications, Unix/AIX system administration, change management, Windows 2000/2003 and Oracle data base technology desired.
