Job Function:Secure funding for EPRI’s Eastern US and Canadian clients.  You will be responsible for understanding, communicating and selling EPRI solutions in the Nuclear market. Work with Nuclear Executive Director, Senior Account Executives and technical staff in establishing and implementing specific client engagement strategies.Work within a matrix organization to establish and maintain a positive, valued and consultative relationship with assigned clients Establishing strong relationships at all levels within assigned companies, making general as well as specific sales calls and presentations. Understanding the clients and being the voice of the client internally to effectively communicate its strategic issues, business objectives, unique needs and decision-making process Consultative Selling- Proactively identify existing EPRI products and solutions that can meet client’s needs Strategic Selling - Managing the sales process from client needs assessment through close of sale and coordinating appropriate internal cross-functional support as needed Subject Matter Expert – Ability to comprehend and represent to clients, EPRI technical products based upon their individual and combined value propositions. Bodies of work include Nuclear safety: material aging and degradation, non-destructive evaluations and inspections, risk analyses, fire and seismic protection,Nuclear operation maintenance and engineering optimization issues and processes, instrumentation and control room modernization, turbine-generators inspections and maintenance, piping  and heat exchanger corrosion, water chemistry for light water reactorsNuclear Fuel performance: improving fuel cycle, eliminating fuel failures,Handling of radioactive waste and Health PhysicsVoice of the Customer- Capture client, market and product feedback to help support and influence future EPRI product development

Ideal Candidate:Solid understanding of account management and sales principles with the ability to master the sales process from needs assessment to close of sale.  Utilize CRM system to track and manage sales goals and client intelligence Ability to effectively engage and communicate EPRI value at all levels within a client’s organization Experienced individual in selling complex technical solutions to the Electric Utility industry with established contacts in the nuclear utility industryAn understanding of the energy industry, with a focus in the nuclear sector Working knowledge of EPRI products and services offered with emphasis in the nuclear area is desiredAbility to work toward common goals in a team atmosphere and influence members of cross- functional teams to implement a shared business strategy Willing to travel approximately 30% of the time

Education Level and Years of Experience: Technical degree required; advanced degree preferred
