Accounting Manager

Knowledge Reservoir is a leading upstream geoscience and engineering consulting firm serving clients worldwide from offices in Houston, Midland, London and Kuala Lumpur. Knowledge Reservoir delivers Subsurface Asset Consulting, Production Solutions, and Knowledge Management solutions including ReservoirKB and RightTime Analysis Services to firms around the globe.  We are currently hiring for the position of Accounting Manager for our Galleria-area office.

 

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:



· Supervise all aspects of Accounts Payable

· Supervise all aspects of Accounts Receivable

· Liaison with outside Payroll provider for all payroll reporting

· Prepare monthly sales tax returns

· Monthly US financial reporting

· Project Reporting

· Global Consolidations and Financial Reporting

· System Administrator for financial systems

· Revenue recognition - % completion

· Reconciliations and account analysis

· Maintain accounting documentation and all records

· Previous experience with implementation of Accounting systems – a plus

· Special projects as assigned.

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following competencies:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Minimum of eight years in Accounting with similar experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Proficient in Great Plains

· Experience with Quick books – a plus
