Ability to work safely and promote the safe behavior in others. Experience in administrative./office functions such as typing, filing, scheduling, researching employee/customer requests/questions, preparing reports. Proficiency in computer use, including PC operating and Mainframe systems ( Word, Excel, Access, Power Point). Customer oriented, demonstrated ability to be tactful, have integrity/credibility when dealing with others, organized, exhibits sound judgment, able to treat confidential material appropriately. Represents company to employees, conducts self in a professional manner when dealing with all employees. Carry out assigned administrative functions requiring considerable knowledge of the company, human resources issues, and safety issues. Prefer previous experience in Human Resources area and with SAP. Prepare reports, analyze data, including staffing numbers, attendance data, absentee statistics, and safety/MSHA data. Communicate effectively and accurately, both verbally and in writing (proofing for style and content). Able to present information to employee groups. Work effectively and cooperatively, with all employees and employee dependents. Seek improvement in existing administrative processes and formulate suggested changes. Prioritize and sustain several on-going projects which might involve word processing, spread sheet, data analysis, scheduling, reporting, etc.
