 As a Halliburton Electrical/Electronics Technical Advisor, you are not only armed with authority - you are an authority. You are considered a subject matter expert in the application of standard electrical/electronic components. Share your expertise in analysis, modification and designs for multiple projects and/or projects of great complexity. This role calls for someone with the ability to trade off innumerable, complex, highly interdependent variables and who can make timely decisions. Provide leadership in technical solutions, new approaches to problems encountered. You may lead design teams, as well as give technical input into electrical and/or electronic hardware and/or firmware design, modification, testing and support of downhole tools and surface systems. A desire for variety in working conditions is essential, as this job occasionally involves physical exertion, outside work and may include routine travel.

We are looking for a senior level electrical engineer with minimum 10 years of analog and some RF design experience. This individual will be heavily involved in designing, developing and testing complex analog circuitry for downhole application which is required to operate up to 350F (177C). Also this individual will need to have some reasonable RF design experience where his expertise can be utilized for our downhole RF tool. Any digital knowledge and experience along with analog is a plus but not necessary. We are looking for a subject matter expert in analog design with RF experience. Candidate should be able to take technical lead in analog designs, High temperature electronics design experience is a plus but not necessary.

 

Salary level commiserate with experience. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of 10 years related experience are required for the position. A master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and license/charter as a Professional Engineer are preferred.
