Applications Product Engineer needed

Applications Product Engineer needed Our client is a leading international polymer manufacturer, and they are seeking an ambitious, experienced Applications Engineer for its Heating and Plumbing Division in the Construction Business Unit to be located at their Head Office. Job responsibilities will include: - Responsible for product development and defining technical aspects for the product and system requirements for a variety of mechanical piping systems - Coordination with various production facilities to define specifications and requirements for the product range - Development of production drawings and technical specifications - Coordination of product testing and release of new developments - Development of quality control procedures and incoming goods inspections - Preparation of technical information and documents on the product range - Participation in processing quality claims and complaintsEducation and Experience Required: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline - Experience in the building construction industry with technical and manufacturing background - 3-5 years in engineering environment with understanding of manufacturing techniques including injection molding, extrusion, machining and forging processes - Strong background in AutoCAD - Ability to work accurately under time pressure with multiple assignments and projects - Ability to work effectively with coworkers in multiple departments and at all levels of seniority - Willingness to travel throughout North America If you have an interest and feel you are qualified please forward me a copy of your resume in Word format to the email address below.
