Associate Programmer Analyst - eBusiness

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Programmer Analyst in our Information Technology Services department.  This position could be located in are Green Bay, Wi or Chicago, IL office.

 

Responsibilities include:

 Employees in this job function participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and programming assignments that provide for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the company’s eBusiness application systems. eBusiness applications systems incude: Internet, Intranet, EDI, IVR, and miscellanous customer facing applications. Works with technical staff and business team to understand and analyze system changes.  Reviews existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.

Qualifications required:

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent and or related job experience. Experience working within Windows, UNIX, and Mainframe (optional) computing platforms.Experience or proficiency in the following application development technologies – HTML, XML, CSS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, ASP, UNIX Shell Scripting, SQL Server, JAVA, JSP and .NET. Manages time with regards to analyzing, designing, constructing and implementing tasks to achieve needed business results.Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in personal work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.Actively interacts in a constructive manner with co-workers and staff to create a synergy to develop business solutions.Works with customers and maintains a focus on providing superior quality and customer service. Makes active attempts to influence events to achieve goals and objectives; goes beyond what is required.  Takes responsibility for getting things done.Uses relevant information to diagnose problems, identify key issues, relationships, and root causes from a variety of quantitative and qualitative data.Communicates well, both orally and in writing, with a variety of people across different situations.  Includes the ability to communicate with a variety of personalities.Preferred candidates will have a strong understanding of web server technologies and will be creative with regard to web design and familiar with technical constraints involved in designing for the web. Preferred candidates will have familiarity with basic EDI structures (X12) and EDI translation tools such as GSX Application Integrator. Preferred candidates will have familiarity with telecommunications and related Call Center Technologies (ACD, IVR, Call Routing, Workforce Management, Quality Monitoring, and Reporting).
