As a result of growth we are seeking a Business Analyst.

 

The Information Technology team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to plan and undertake a business analysis role on a wide range of projects. 

 Involved in the development of new systems and functional processes, working closely with external customers, and managing projects in Information Technology.  Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and systems processes.  Produce a number of deliverables, e.g., requirements specification, process maps, project plans, etc. 

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Technology or Business Administration and/or working towards an MBA or a MS in Information Systems.  Project management and Process Improvement training desired. Must be detail oriented with good organization, verbal, people skills, service-oriented and a team player. Ability to translate business requirements to process improvements or system enhancements.  In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of the following:

 Practical experience in Utilities Retail Energy industry is desiredMinimum 5 years Business Analyst experience.Experience working with business customersEnd to end experience of the project life-cycleIdeally a track record of project deliveryExtensive work experience using modeling or analytical tools to map processesAmbitious self-starter with the ability to manage a range of small projects in parallelUnderstanding of sales, quality assurance, accounting and finance, systems integration, development in a Microsoft Environment using VB.Net, ASP.Net and Web Services is desired.MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.  Visio or other process modeling tool experience is also required.
