We are looking for a Business Analyst with Oil & Gas Experience.  We have several BA positions that are a long term (1+ year) consulting engagement in the downtown Denver, Colorado area. Please Note:Qualified candidates must have Oil & Gas experience Business Analyst Role IT Business Analysts are the key element focused on people, business process and IT technology solutions that support the company’s resource play business strategy. Responsibilities Include Proactively investigate, understand and describe the business process and develop into requirements Strong requirements gathering Direct interface with BU asset teams & support groups requesting solutions or consultancy on information technology. Promote active stakeholder participation throughout the Information Technology delivery process from : Manage the relationship with solution provider(s) in identifying what needs to be provided, prioritize the functionality and estimate capability of delivery. Translate requirements into technical/functional specs Knowledge & Skills Any experience with - Upstream Oil & Gas Exploration & Production, Land, Surface, Mineral, Revenue, and EH&S is a PLUS RUP experience is a Plus Strong Requirements gathering Modeling and Design Principles Translation between “business needs” and “technical/architectural complexities” Business Change Management Planning of Application Implementation/Integration Interpersonal Skills Apply:Apply Online Now!
