Buyer / Purchasing Agent

 

Located in Morris, Illinois and reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this position has direct responsibility for obtaining materials, supplies and services, evaluating quotations, vendor selections and other purchasing activities.  Buyer must be familiar with preparing, reviewing, and executing contracts for materials and services with an annual budget of up to $15 million.  Reports to the Technical Services Manager with minimal supervision.

 

Position Requirements:

 

v  High school diploma

 

v Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in procurement

 

v Background in refinery, fractionation or gas processing industry a definite plus. 

 

v Certified Purchaser through National Association of Purchasing Management would be an asset.

 

Work hours are from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM
