CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

Turbine Generator Maintenance, Inc. (TGM) is a field service and parts and repair company that services power plants in the United States and overseas. The subset of the energy sector that TGM operates in is formally known as the "Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul" (MRO) market. The company now embarks on an ambitious growth plan, both through organic expansion and acquisition, throughout the United States and overseas.



An important part of the growth plan of TGM involves hiring a Contract Administrator to assist in the quality of the proposals, contracts, change orders and final reports delivered to customers as part of the company’s "build out" strategy.

Energy Sector Experience

While energy sector experience may be beneficial, it is not a prerequisite for this position. However, the selected candidate must have experience as a contract administrator. The Contract Administrator is part of the team for the non-job deliverables to the customer, and is a crucial part of the value chain.

 

Key Responsibilities

This position is a proactive administrative assignment. The position reports to the Manager of Contracts and is a non-exempt administrative position. The Contract Administrator has the accountability to maintain department records on a daily basis (the database). This data, numerical in nature, will provide self-management guidelines and records for the department’s management team for evaluation purposes.

The Contract Administrator objectives will be to support the sales staff in the following manner:

Process and review Contracts/ Agreements.



Process and review RFQs received by TGM



Prepare and maintain proposals submitted on behalf of TGM in a consistent professional manner.



Process purchase orders received by TGM and facilitate the distribution of information to the appropriate individuals



Support in the maintenance and updating of the Qualification Statements in an expedient manner so as to ensure that the information we deliver to our clients is accurate and up to date.



Support in the maintenance and updating of the manual outage schedule in an expedient manner so as to ensure that the various TGM departments are aware of all jobs, potential jobs and job assignments.



Assist the Sales Team with positive support, be flexible and pro-active in the success of the Sales Division.

Involved in the review and revision of: Proposals Contracts and contract generationChange ordersFinal reportsWork with the call center, technical sales engineers and technical directors to ensure they are familiar with the content and style of all relevant proposals, contracts, change orders and final reports

 

EducationAssociates degree or equivalent

 

 

ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of contract administration experienceExperience and ability at writing technical proposalsHistory of converting proposal language to contractual language Success in compiling, editing and refining technical final reports at job completion for delivery to the customerSuccessful history of maximizing efficiency and the quality of the deliverable to the customer
