Commercial Collections Specialist and A/R

A/R – COLLECTIONS

 

Essential functions include, but not limited to, the following:

 

·  Calling on past due open invoices and charge-backs.

·  Monitoring follow-up calls for open balances on customer accounts.

·  Assist in resolving customer disputed deductions pertaining to pricing, rebate discounts, damages, shortages and freight claims.

·  Reconciling customer accounts as assigned.

·  Responding to incoming Accounts Receivable customer related requests and inquiries.

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

A minimum of 5 years experience in heavy Collection and Account Reconciliation.  Experience with a distribution or manufacture environment desirable.  Candidate must have experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment.  Must maintain knowledge in all phases of Accounts Receivables.

 

 

OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be a self-starter and willingly able to take initiative.  This position requires a great deal of flexibility in order to work effectively within an environment that must meet rapidly changing deadlines.  Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.  Experience with Navision is highly preferred.
