Commercial & Project Manager

This position assists with identifying business development opportunities for the Terminals business group, which includes new customer contracts, expansion projects as well as merger/acquisition opportunities.   Maintains relationships and manages contracts with existing customers and acts as the point person for customer needs.   Responsible for commercial development, including asset optimization and utilization within specific assigned region.  Identifies opportunities spanning across all terminal locations including those that may be outside of assigned region.Identifies business development and expansion opportunities and initiates new customer relationships.  Performs economic modeling and projections for potential business deals and asset purchases. Participates in acquisition opportunities from start to finish.Manages existing customer contracts and maintains relationships.  Acts as the point person for assigned customers to meet their needs, answer questions, etc. Partners with scheduling and operations group in overseeing all product movement, scheduling, exchange and marketing to current and new customers.Provides commercial backup support and support to scheduling and operations.Assist in revenue planning and forecastingOther projects and assignments as directed.5 years experience.  Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, or related field.                                                             Additional requirements:   The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows® operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.  The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
