Communications Specialist

A Denver-based regional non-profit industry trade association is seekinga motivated professional for a communications/public relations position.

Responsibilities:Serve as media contact for associationArrange interviews for Manager of Communications and Executive DirectorAssist in research and preparation for media interviewsMaintain media contact databaseTrack media inquires and news storiesManage website contentPrepare news releases and media advisoriesAssist in development of association literaturePublish daily industry news briefs for staff and association membersPublish weekly industry newsletter

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/ university or equivalent experienceExcellent research, writing and editing skillsA team player who performs well independently and is an organized, adaptable, self-starter who thrives in an empowered, fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask, take direction and execute with precisionSolid time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within project deadlines
