Conmmercialization Manager

As Sr. Commercialization Manager, you will be responsible for providing both deal structuring and economic analysis support to the Management Team.  The major responsibilities include:  assisting with the structuring, negotiating and contracting of oil and gas transactions involving taking equity, building economic models and performing sophisticated economic analysis on investment opportunities using probabilistic risking techniques, analyzing oil and gas pricing to create hedge recommendations and performing portfolio analysis to determine the optimal times to add, hold or sell assets within the portfolio.

The primary roles and responsibilities of this job are:
* Assist with structuring, negotiating and contracting oil and gas transactions involving taking equity and lead specific efforts at times.

* Create economic models and performing economic analysis using probabilistic risking techniques working to correctly capture the key aspects of all projects being evaluated.

* Analyze oil and gas prices to create hedging recommendations which will be presented the Board of Management.

* Perform portfolio analysis to determine optimal times to sell, hold or add assets and assist with sales efforts to divest assets, leading certain of the efforts during this process.

* Assist in preparing presentations to the Management Team, or the Board of Management

 

At a minimum you should possess an undergraduate degree in business or engineering with at least five years of relevant oil and gas experience in the United States

Ideally candidates will possess the following:

- Either an MBA or an engineer with a strong economics background and ten years of relevant oil and gas experience in the United States.
-Experience leading commercialization efforts and contractual negotiations
-Experience performing economic and risk evaluation for new opportunities including performing portfolio optimization on existing assets
