Position Profile:
This position combines a background in environmental and safety to address issues and compliance programs within the field of industrial hygiene for Nicor Gas.

Position Responsibilities:
Is responsible for establishing, conducting, and monitoring industrial hygiene programs and projects. Project manages contractors where applicable; compiles and files reports with applicable State, Federal and local agencies; conducts training for employees where a SME is required; manages applicable contracts and purchase orders; liaison to Human Resources and Medical departments. has direct responsibility for the management of employees within the safety discipline.

Required Degree(s), Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, technical, science or natural science discipline. Experience with Industrial Hygiene profession(conducting exposure assessments and evaluations). Experience with application and interpretation of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Preferred Degree(s), Skills and Experience:
CIH certification preferred.
