Contract Engineer

EPB, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, ranked among the top ten utilities in the U.S. in terms of customer service is looking for a Contract Engineer to work with the Economic Development Department in its Economic Development & Government Relations Division, reporting to the Manager, New Business Development & Design.Scope will include developing initial and final designs for electric power distribution needs based on customer requirements using Microstation. Duties will include meeting with customers and assessing their electric power distribution needs and being a central point of contact for customers.The successful candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; licensed journeyman electrician acceptable with four or more years of related experience required, and must have a clear understanding of overhead/underground distribution and service wiring.
