Seeking a successful corporate recruiter for a market leading solar energy services company that has a veteran management team, marquee customers, elite investors and tremendous momentum in the rapidly growing renewable energy market.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
SunEdison LLC is North America’s largest Solar Energy Service Provider, and operates across the global marketplace delivering turnkey, predictably priced renewable electricity services for commercial, government and utility customers without the capital outlays traditionally associated with solar solutions. Using proven technology, SunEdison delivers a complete service; we finance, install, own, operate and maintain photovoltaic power plants at the customer’s facility.

SunEdison is privately held and has just completed a breakout 2007.  The company is led by a seasoned team of executives who bring extensive energy industry experience from GE, BP, Johnson Controls and TransAlta.  SunEdison is experiencing a significant tailwind and is positioned for 100%+ sales growth in 2008 which includes building up global staff.

Major customers include WalMart, Staples, Kohl’s and Anheuser Busch. 

Goldman Sachs is the lead investor in SunEdison.

 

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

 

The Human Resources organization is likely to staff up significantly over the next few years.  Accordingly, we are looking for a high potential individual who can grow with the requirements of the position and the organization. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsible for the full life-cycle of recruiting including candidate sourcing, writing job descriptions, ensuring personnel requisitions are complete, coordinating job posting advertising, conducting pre-screen interviews, presenting benefits and company information, salary negotiations, extending employment offers and conducting the negotiations process. Handle sensitive confidential information appropriately. Manage the applicant tracking system, and participate in regular HR meetings.

QUALIFICATIONSPossess strong written and oral English communication skillsSuperior interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Federal and State laws and practices. 7-10 years recruiting experience including International experienceBachelor’s degree, PHR/SPHR preferred.
