Cost Accountant for Project in China

Our Drilling company client is search for a Cost Accountant for a year long project in China.  Work Schedule will be three months on, three weeks off.  Candidate will be responsible for developing analysis, forecasts, and budgets for major capital construction projects and re-build projects of existing drilling rigs.  They will assist project managers and engineering staff in the management of costs on projects.  Will assist Accounting in the correct handling of project expenditures on corporate financial books.  Will assist in the development of effective reporting utilizing SAP, Excel or other software to provide project management the ability to manage expenditures on projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelors/Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.  Minimum 3-5 years experience in budgeting, forecasting and/or cost analysis.  Solid experience with Microsoft Office software - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.  Experience in enterprise business software such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.  SAP experience is preferred.  Good written and verbal communications skills.  Work independently and with teams.  Willing to travel.
