Customer Service Rep - Energy Services

Job Function:

·        Interviews potential and existing residential and business customers via telephone promoting En-Touch services such as Retail Electricity, Solar Systems, and Energy Management solutions.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:Consult with residential and commercial customers by phone or in person and receive orders for move-in, move-out, switch, disconnection, or changes in service.Consult with residential and commercial customers regarding our additional services including photovoltaic installations and energy management services. Prepare service orders, determines changes for service requested, collects payments, prepares change of address records, handles customer’s complaints and requests, and issues disconnection orders.Solicits sales of new and/or additional services.Performs clerical, reporting functions and customer service in a call center environment.Monitors accuracy of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions and reports and resolves discrepancies. Assist in daily functions of load forecasting, energy scheduling, and communications with market participants and vendors. Adjust complaints concerning billing or service(s) rendered, referring complaints of service(s) failures to appropriate parties for investigation.Participate in process development for a new business unit focused on the energy sector.Responsible for additional duties that require a more detailed knowledge of

the company including handling more complex business accounts.

 

Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Courteous, helpful and enthusiastic with customers.Able to perform in a team environment.Work independently with little supervision.Computer literacy necessary but not limited to Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Customer billing systems and Data Base Software.Experience with iSigma billing/CIS systems preferred but not required.
